Why We Practice, Not Promise

The Constitution of the United Empire of Romania is finished. Libertatea exists to take it out of the archive and into the life of every citizen, one person and one republic at a time.

I / the origin

Why We Exist

Both of the disasters named in the preamble are personal. Collectivist oppression rules through force and takes what you built. Mob rule rules through noise and takes what you are. Romania has survived men with plans and crowds with slogans. Libertatea was born from that exhaustion, in the quiet after asking one question: what would a government look like that could do neither?

The answer is not a party, a leader, or a mood. It is a text. The Constitution of the United Empire of Romania was written to be complete: forty-one autonomous republics, a bill of rights that cannot be amended away, three taxes that can fall but never rise, money pinned to gold, judges chosen by lottery so that no one can chase the bench.

We did not want another promise. We wanted a document strict enough to be practiced line by line, today, before any referendum. That is what Libertatea is: citizens who took the finished text and started living by it, one person, one republic, one entry in a register at a time.

one mission: practice of the written constitution

Three Fronts, One Text

01

Read

You cannot practice a text you have not read. We walk the constitution clause by clause, in republics and in living rooms, exactly as written. No interpretation, no leader's gloss, no shortened creed. When a member quotes a right, the quote has an article and a section behind it.

02

Practice

Reading is not enough, so we rehearse. Each member belongs to a republic's register and to its council of direct democracy. We train as jurors, because verdicts take twelve citizens and 75% agreement. We settle our own disputes by restitution instead of punishment.

03

Watch

Power drifts, even under good text. The association keeps a public register of deviations from the charter, measured and dated, republic by republic. A zoning rule is a deviation. A new permit is a deviation. The register is our memory, so that "it was always like this" never becomes an argument.

III / the method

Calm, Precise, Cartographic

Every claim we publish carries its article number, and every activity we run maps to a clause we can point to. If an activity cannot be anchored in the text, we drop it. Decisions inside the association copy the constitution's own arithmetic: high thresholds, binding results, no majority trampling one.

Joining costs nothing but your name and takes about a minute. We move slowly on principle and fast on fact. The method is the message: a limited association for a limited government.

Who We Are

We are citizens who chose to defend the constitution as written, in the 41 republics and in the capital district. We promise no miracles. We carry out one work, with calm and durable means, and we recognize each other by a simple habit: when someone asks "where is that written", we show the article and the section.

  • 01 Government exists to protect rights, not to grant them.
  • 02 The greatest minority is the individual.
  • 03 Restitution heals what punishment only repeats.
  • 04 No majority, no office, and no emergency outvotes a right.
  • 05 We practice the text as written, and we sign our names to it.

The constitution protects one person at a time. Be one of them.
